We try to federate with as may instances as possible, we will ONLY block other instances due to serious technical issues (i.e. instance DoSes us). Users are encouraged to use "Mute", and in drastic cases "Block" buttons to deal with abuse. We will definetely not block other instances for political/social reasons as to avoid creating echo chambers
